Angry gunman stopped by armed partygoer

Officers said their investigation revealed people at the party had begun arguing. Loreto was asked to leave but returned a short time later with a rifle and began firing shots outside the home, according to Glendale police Officer Tracey Breeden.

At some point, witnesses said Loreto pointed the rifle at partygoers and Rakes took out a gun and shot Loreto. Detectives said Rakes fired his handgun once during the incident they believe may have been self-defense. Rakes cooperated with detectives. He was later released.
