The man got out of the car at Elmer’s Restaurant at 9660 S.E. Stark St., police say. He threatened a man with a knife in the Elmer’s parking lot, according to police, then dropped the knife and ran after seeing that the man he was threatening had a gun.
Several people chased the suspect and restrained him until police arrived around 10:45 a.m.
